Theater

For me, theatre is a miraculous and mystical world where you can create a parallel reality. A reality that sometimes turns out to be more focused and real than the world outside the theatre.
I have made stage design and costumes for more than 50 theatre shows. It is important for me to create the atmosphere in every job; I pay close attention to close-ups and details. The thread colour with which a button is attached or the grade of abrasion for the chair legs is not less important to me than the costume silhouette.
It is important that the premises and the costumes I create by the help of visual art tools, carry a conceptual load that the viewer will perceive emotionally and intellectually.
Similarly, as I do in visual art, when I working for theatre ambiguous play with objects and different kinds of matter is very important to me.
The favourite place in the theatre is definitely the costume and props storage room. The things with history stories, which have found their peace in warehouse, inspire me and I like to take them out to be highlighted and brought back to life in theatre shows.
